TOP Alberta: Towards Optimized Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines
Toward Optimized Practice (TOP) helps Alberta physicians and the teams with whom they work implement evidence-based practices to enhance the care of their patients. They currently have guidelines for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancers as well as patient information and clinical tools.

Canadian Guidelines

Canadian Critical Care Society Guidelines Includes several currently used clinical guidelines in critical care on topics such as withdrawal of life support, nutrition support and mechanical ventilation. Canadian Critical Care Society-produced documents as well as endorsed documents by the CCCS.
Canadian Critical Care Trials Group Guidelines Features 3 guidelines developed by the CCCTG.
Canadian Medical Association: CMA Infobase: Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) Allows you to search for clinical practice guidelines.
Critical Care Nutrition (CAN) The 2013 Clinical Practice Guidelines summarize the evidence from approximately 300 randomized controlled trials in the area of critical care nutrition since 1980. The included studies have undergone a formal review process by the Canadian Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and provide the latest and best evidence for clinical practice in the various areas of critical care nutrition.

International Guidelines

Guidelines International Network (INT) Provides the world’s largest collection of international guidelines in health care, however only a percentage are openly available.
LearnICU.org (Society of Critical Care Medicine) Includes dozens of clinical guidelines and administrative guidelines produced by the SCCM, as well as endorsed guidelines produced by other bodies, and a list of archived guidelines from past years.
NHS Evidence - National Library of Guidelines (UK) Evidence-based recommendations developed by independent committees, including professionals and lay members, and consulted on by stakeholders.
NICE Pathways (UK) Our quality standards set out priority areas for quality improvement. They highlight areas with identified variation in current practice.
Orlando Regional Medical Center Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Guidelines Regularly updated and revised critical/acute care and surgery clinical guidelines used by Orlando Regional Medical Center.
PulmCCM Guidelines in Pulmonary & Critical Care (INT) Clinical guidelines in pulmonary & critical care from major specialty societies, including the American Thoracic Society’s (ATS) guidelines, American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) guidelines, and British Thoracic Society (BTS) guidelines. Regularly updated and revised.
