Trissel’s IV Compatibility tab
- Create a Compatibility Chart (solution options include Lactated Ringer’s) and access supporting compatibility and stability study summaries from the chart hyperlinks; click on the individual drug name hyperlink to find tabs for its other compatibilities, or drug properties monograph similar to Handbook on Injectable Drugs by Trissel.
- TPN/TNA compatibility: Enter IV drug name. Enter “parenteral” in the IV Solution(s)/Parenteral Nutrition search box to view choices, e.g. “TNA (3-in-1) Total Nutrient Admixture (Parenteral nutrition (with lipids))”. Click on “Analyze”. Tip: Set chart filter to “Y-site” to view only those results.
