Use Lexicomp to access drug information databases. Trissel’s IV Compatibility can be found on the main page but a list of all databases like Pediatric & Neonatal Lexi-Drugs, Briggs Drugs in Pregnancy & Lactation, and AHFS Drug DI can be found by clicking the down arrow on More Clinical Tools and choosing Indexes or by running a search for a drug and viewing available content.
Use Micromedex to search information related to medications, interactions and IV compatibility. Included is access to NeoFax/Pediatrics and Tox & Drug Product Lookup.
Use Natural Medicines to search for complementary and alternative therapies. Included are tools to check for interactions, nutrient depletions, pregnancy & lactation as well as adverse effects.
